Description: 

Body short, plump, inflated - grub-shaped (similar to Travisia,Ophellidae), complete specimen with 42 chaetigers


Prostomium shape: short, conical, pointed, no eyes


No. of pairs of palps:  1, 1 of them is present – short, thick and coiled


Arrangement of branchiae:   pair of single long, coiled filament (on each side of segment), present in anterior half of the body


Type of chaetae: capillaries only, long and short, relatively few


Pygidium: terminal, small cone
